Description: Ethan Pond is located at the edge of the Pemigewasset Wilderness. The camping site is 2.2 miles from upper the parking lot. A couple hiking options from the tent site include: Thoreau Falls, 2.5 miles, on flat terrain, 5 miles round trip; and Mt Willey via Willey Ridge Trail, 2.1 miles with 1650’ of
elevation gain, 4.2 miles round trip.
